For our talent, we understand the hospitality industry is very tough – sometimes you need a few extra gigs to pay the bills or maybe you don’t want to be tied down to a rigid schedule.

Flex by Jitjatjo gives hospitality professionals an opportunity to work when they want to, or more importantly, when they need to.

Along with supplying gigs on-demand, we are committed to improving our Talent beyond the job.  Through personal coaching calls, a world-class support team, educational content, and a suite of other tools, we enable personal and professional growth.

How to become part of the Jitjatjo team

The process of working with Jitjatjo is simple for both businesses and our staff.

For Talent:

2. Fill in your information
3. Take our skills assessments
4. Come meet us for an in-person interview in New York, Chicago, or Washington D.C.
5. Get hired and start working!

For Businesses:

1. Download the Ondemand App
2. Schedule a meeting with our team (if you want)
3. Enter your personal and payment details
4. Start booking great talent as little as an hour in advance!

How it works

Getting gigs

When companies make a booking in the app, our job matching technology will match them with the best available talent to their gig. When a member of our talent pool gets matched, she or he get invited through the app and accept the gigs they want to work.

Flexible schedules

Once talent set their availability in the app, they can get matched to a gig anywhere between one hour before the start time or up to 2 months in advance, with some gigs lasting for multiple days based on the clients needs.

Opportunities are customized to you

Our job matching technology will only extend an invite for a gig that matches skills, work preferences, and performance history between the potential talent and the client looking for work. This ensures that both our client and talent teams are happy with their booked opportunity.

Rates are standardized

Each skill has a standard hourly pay rate based on experience level. Talent can have as many skills assigned in the app as they are qualified for.

Get quick and easy payment

We pay on a weekly basis but if a talent wants payment faster, the payment can be expedited and received within 72 hours by selecting Instant Pay after a gig.

We are the first W2 employer to offer instant payment.

About our talent

Ondemand leverages A.I. and Empathic Intelligence to resource your business with Jitjatjo’s next-generation workforce. A community of high-quality hospitality talent who have been thoroughly vetted, assessed, and interviewed by Jitjatjo in-person.

Jitjatjo hires the TOP 5% of applicants and, once hired, continually reviews their performance and invests in their growth. All members of the talent community are W2 employees of Jitjatjo (training & development, payroll, and workers compensation insurance are handled by Jitjatjo) allowing you to focus on your business.

Our talent care about doing a great job – 96% of our gigs are rated positively by clients.

What our talent do

Depending on skill set, our talent could be matched to gigs for a variety of roles:

Kitchen

Prepping food, working a hot line, plating food, washing dishes or cleaning kitchen equipment.

Service

Setting up and breaking down dining rooms, running buffets, passing food and beverages, or doing the steps of service.

Bar

Setting up bars or beverage stations, or making and serving cocktails to customers.

Counter

Ringing up orders on a register, making coffee beverages, or assembling meals to go.

Guest services

Greeting guests, running a host stand, or checking in guests’ coats and belongings.

Where we are

Gigs year-round

Hospitality is a seasonal industry, but with over a thousand clients using our app, there is always a need for skilled talent year-round. That’s why we are always looking for new talent and businesses to join the platform.

In 2016, we started with a handful of talent and clients who were willing to give us a chance. Since then we’ve grown and book tens of thousands of gigs every year.
