My experience with Jitjatjo is that you get to be around all different types of kitchens, which allows you to discover different cooking techniques and learn a lot. I also enjoy all the various aspects of what it’s like to be in the food industry.
So far my favorite gig I have worked was at John Frazier. It was the best experience, I’ve learned so much over there.
Selecting my own schedule is fantastic, especially as a working mom. Having a flexible schedule is something my teammates also really enjoy.
A typical day for me is getting to work with a positive attitude and being enthusiastic. I start my day by prepping first, setting up my station, and the most amazing part, cooking for the customers.
Everyday is a new challenge, particularly when you find yourself in different locations and you want to be appreciated for your work. On my first gig, it was really important to me to leave a good impression.
My advice to my Jitjatjo teammates is to maintain a neat and professional appearance and to demonstrate a strong willingness to work hard.
My proudest achievement during my time at Jitjatjo is consistently impressing the chef on every shift through hard work and the demonstration of my skills.
During my time off from gigs, I enjoy shopping, cooking, and traveling in my free moments!
