What interested you about working with Jitjatjo?

I discovered Jitjatjo as a hiring manager. I like the flexibility and how easy it is to accept shifts.

What’s your favorite gig you have worked so far and why? Tell us about it.

I was a long-term line cook at Lake Forest Hospital. I was able to learn and work in many different areas, which kept me from being stuck in a rut. 

What's the best part about making your own schedule?

The ability to be 100% available for your family.

What’s a typical work day look like for you?

8 hour shifts - sometimes starting early and finishing early, sometimes starting later.

What scared you the most when you took your first gig?

The feeling of not knowing what I was walking into.

What’s the one piece of advice you’d give a new Jitjatjo teammate?

Be professional; show up on time - looking sharp and ready to work.

What is your proudest accomplishment? 

My experience with Jitjatjo helped boost my confidence and allowed me to pursue the next phase of my career.

With a flexible schedule, how do you like to spend your time when you're not working?

Oddly enough, more cooking.
